Reporter for The South Jersey Times
My name is Caitlyn Stulpin and I’ve been passionate about journalism since I was about eight years old. My dream has always been to be a reporter and to make it out of the local scene to something bigger and more adventurous. Chasing stories, creating adventure, and doing good for those involved is always the aim of my articles, and looking at the big picture has become second nature.
After interning with them for seven months I can proudly say that I am currently a reporter at the South Jersey Times in both Woodbury and Salem. I work in correlation with NJ.com and the Advanced Media company producing both online and print work.
As a features junkie every piece I do turns into a human interest story. Anecdotal leads are second nature, and story telling is a key component in my work. Writing is my passion and telling stories of those that wouldn’t have otherwise have been told is important to me.
When I’m not reporting and taking photos, I enjoy running, outdoors, baking and participating in philanthropy projects. As an annual participant in The Polar Bear Plunge, Girls on the Run, The American Red Cross and the Special Olympics, as well as volunteering my efforts at multiple animal shelters, I’ve made many connections with organizations that I hold very dear to my heart.
So, if you want to get sucked into my stories check out some of what I’d like to call my highlight reel on my home page!
