As a newly hired employee at the South Jersey Times I’ve been working my butt of to prove that I was worth the hire. Any assignment given to me, I’ve taken – not matter how far the drive, how unfamiliar the topic, or how tough the angle. I’ve worked weekends and holidays. I’ve run the webdesk, stalked the police scanners, and had several changes in plans where I was thrown off and forced back on my feet.
